PrintStation Manager (PSM)

The PrintStation Manager (PSM) is the control tool for all print jobs and is designed to maximise productivity. It is equipped with an allembracing Graphical User Interface (GUI) which is intuitive, extremely user-friendly and requires an incredibly short learning curve. The enjoyment of the sheer simplicity and straightforwardness is further heightened in the knowledge that all print engines are controlled in an identical manner. A truly universal solution. The PrintStation Manager deals entirely with ripped data. This produces these essential major benefits:

  • Compatibility between different sets of data (e.g. Word, QuarkXPress, PDF) is assured. The complete independence from the original application and author means the key operator can entirely concentrate on thequality of the document. This is particularly advantageous for merging and editing of documents.
  • Printing can take place immediately once the data has been edited and/or processed.

Workflow

Incoming data from any source is automatically spooled, queued and ripped – ready for the PrintStation Manager.

Sophisticated simplicity

The MicroPress Professional fulfils the perfect pivotal print management role. It covers Document Make-Ready, Print Output Management and Print Monitoring. It embraces any form of incoming data and operates with a GUI which is applicable to all machines and operations, thus ensuring full compatibility, remarkable versatility, excellent quality, maximum productivity, a short learning curve and excellent cost control.

Effective productivity

Colour Split
Colour split will automatically and immediately separate colour from black and white pages within a document and allocate the print jobs to the appropriate output devices. This furthers flexibility, improves the handling of mission critical jobs and represents a tremendous saving potential.

Cluster Printing
To accommodate variations in job size and workflow cluster printing spreads a job simultaneously across several identical devices. This flexibility heightens performance and speed which is particularly beneficial for mission critical jobs.
